The purpose of this organization is to stimulate arts participation by encouraging cooperation and building leadership in the arts community, promoting a positive image for the arts as an essential part of the central Illinois culture, and to receive, administer and distribute funds in connection with the activities related to the above purposes.

As an arts service organization, the AART maintains a database of artists and related individuals and businesses to facilitate contact with-and among-members of the art community and related resources. If you are involved in visual art, theatre, dance, music and related performing arts and would like to be included in this database, please fill out the following information as completely as possible. Doing so will indicate your consent to receive communication, information and invitations relate d to the arts from the AART.
